Lev Ivanovich Yashin was a
legendary football goalkeeper nationals of the Soviet Union. Lev Ivanovich
Yashin (born in Moscow, Soviet Union, October 22, 1929 - died in Moscow, Soviet
Union, March 20, 1990 at age 60 years) is a former football goalkeeper legendary
Soviet nationality. Lev Yashin is famous for always wearing a black uniform
when play is arguably the greatest goalkeeper the world has ever seen. He
played 22 seasons for Dinamo Moscow, the only club he ever represented, winning
five league championships and three cup championships. He gave an outstanding
contribution of the game and inspire the default setting for the modern
football goalkeeper. As well sabagai great athlete for his bravery, he was one
of the first goalkeeper in command the entire penalty area and do it with
unmatched confidence. He was also impressive on the goal line with amazing
reflexes and flexibility that make it almost perfect. Most notably, he created

the first choice goalkeeper for the Soviet Union in the 1954-1967 era.
In his career he won 78 trophies
and playing in three World Cup (World Cup) in 1958, 1962, and 1966. In 1956 he
was a member of the Soviet national team that won the Olympics in Melbourne and
four years later he won the European championship. One of the proudest moments
of his career was when he won the European Player of the Year in 1963. He still
remains the only goalkeeper to win the prize. He also said to have foiled more
than 150 penalty kicks in a long career. In 1986 injury to his right knee that
gets worse make doctors forced to amputate his foot, and four years later he
died after suffering complications during surgery.
